• Is a professional photographer who lived in Japan for 3 years and currently lives in San Francisco where he shoots food photography and weddings for a living.
He blends his passion of food, travel & getting to know people into his photography and prefers to be teaching students the finer points of apertures, shutter speeds and food stylings. His hobbies are dancing, playing the ukulele and cooking. He has traveled and photographed extensively through-out Asia and has a special relationship to Japan and has many friends there.
He has a Masters in Education and uses his teaching expertise and Japanese experience to assist in leading photo tours of Japan. He hopes to one day return to Asia to explore and eventually give photo tours of Mongolia, Thailand and Tibet. While living in Japan, he discovered just how much he loves Japanese cuisine. He also likes to guide clients and students to some of the best dinning places in Tokyo.
Paul is a guy who may be just as happy slinging sushi for his friends in his home, or exploring San Francisco with other culinary fans, in search of tasty new dishes and trying wines and imported sake from Japan.
He got his education at the University of Oregon, where he majored in English, and he received his masters degree in education from Pacific University.
